The Jackson Heights Immigrant Solidarity Network (JHISN) supports our immigrant neighbors and their families, including those who are persecuted, by mobilizing against racism, scapegoating, and xenophobia. We believe no human being is illegal; therefore, we:
- Stand in solidarity with immigrants who are attacked, detained, separated from their children, or threatened with deportation or workplace discrimination
- Communicate abuses to the public to raise awareness and solidarity for targeted immigrants
- Mobilize our community to protest and advocate for immigrant rights
- Disseminate information on rights and best practices to defend and protect immigrants
- Seek to work with all groups and individuals fighting for immigrant rights while maintaining an independent stance not aligned with any particular politician or party
